A Career Built on Excellence in Real Estate
Cheryl began her career in 1980 with a Southern California development firm specializing in retail and resort properties, contributing to projects such as the redevelopment of Lake Arrowhead Village. She later joined The Irvine Company, specializing in legal documentation for shopping centers, office buildings, industrial properties, and ground leases.
She went on to manage 500,000 square feet of office, retail, and industrial space for Jaeger Development in Beverly Hills, then expanded her leadership at Capital Investment Properties, where she established a full-service maintenance division. In 1990, she joined Woodmont Real Estate Services as Vice President, launching their Sacramento regional office and growing the portfolio to over 2 million square feet of commercial space and 1,200 multi-family units.
Building Westcal Management’s Success
Cheryl first joined Westcal Management in 1985, then returned in 1998, working closely with Michael Force to expand the company’s management portfolio to over 6,000 units. Her vision led to the creation of Westcal’s full-service Maintenance/Construction division, ensuring cost-effective property renovations and upkeep—a major benefit for Westcal’s clients.
